John Coke, owner of Bury Court Gardens, is kindly allowing us to invite you to a series of special and unique days for the fourth season. We are the owners of three small specialist nurseries, Phoenix Perennial Plants, Southview Nurseries and Steventon Road Nurseries.

During each day there will be interesting and relevant plants for sale and an unlimited chance to wander around the internal walled garden designed by Piet Oudolf and the grid pattern front garden designed by Christopher Bradley-Hole, two leading contemporary garden designers.

In the morning there will be a short half hour talk by one of the nurserymen in the lecture hall or as a practical session in the garden. This year’s topics include the joys of spring, woodland gardens, herbaceous peonies, the pea family and grasses.

In the afternoon there will be a chance to participate in a half hour guided tour of the garden. The tour will alternate between the walled garden  (April, June and August) and the front garden (May, July and September).

Delicious lunches prepared by the Bury Court Cafe will be available at a cost of £10 per head for a main course, cake and coffee / tea. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.

Lunches must be pre-booked via the website (administrator@plantsmansdays.co.uk) or telephone Marina on 01420 560695.
